Just learned that Dave Berman, long-time RMVR Member and racer, passed away on Oct. 1st. Dave was just 10 days short of reaching his 95th birthday.

Many will remember Dave racing his Lotus Super 7 (Now owned and raced by John Polhemus in RMVR). For several years Dave also raced a Formula Ford (Merlyn?). 2018 was his last race with RMVR.

Dave, a wonderful man and true gentleman, will be missed.

I think that makes him the oldest participating driver in an event at 88. Walt was 87 if I remember as was John Berman. I don’t remember how old Bill was in his last race.
